Sustainability and Transparency
At Of Planet Earth, we are conscious of the issue of greenwashing and understand that in many ways the fashion industry itself is antithetical to sustainability. However, we believe that by taking small steps and making incremental changes, we can reduce waste and promote ethical work practices.
Materials and Labour
All of our clothes are made in London. We manufacture clothes at our studio in house, and we now also use a family run factory which is based three miles away from us. We use 100% dead stock materials. By using fabrics that already exist, we are able to minimise our impact on the environment.
During our search for a suitable manufacturer, we visited many locations throughout the UK before settling upon our chosen partner. We selected this company due to their excellent working conditions, fair pay, and high-quality workmanship, all of which are essential for producing high-quality garments.
Sales and Discounts
We believe in fair pricing and transparency. We do not offer massive discounts or sales, as we value the time and effort that goes into creating each handmade piece. Our pricing reflects the quality of our materials, the attention to detail in our designs, and the sustainable and ethical practices we uphold.
